Objective:
To provide free accommodation and food facility to the students coming from remote places of scheduled Tribes while continuing their higher education/ Coaching.
Department is operating 4 ST Hostels in Khatima (Udhamsinghnagar), Kashipur (Udhamsinghnagar), Gopeshwar (Chamoli), Dharchula (Pithoragarh)
In the academic year 2021-22 department has started girls hostel in Dhanpau, Lakhwar (Dehradun) in which 50 girls are residing there.
