Uttarakhand Secures 1st Rank Nationally in Implementation of PM-JANMAN Scheme

Uttarakhand has been ranked first in the country for its exemplary implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN), as announced by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. This recognition reflects the State’s strong commitment to inclusive and saturation-based development of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). PM-JANMAN aims to bridge developmental gaps in PVTG habitations through a convergent, mission-mode approach. Uttarakhand has shown outstanding progress in key areas such as housing, drinking water, electrification, mobile connectivity, healthcare, education, and community infrastructure.
